Our vision is to maintain Palm Beach as a premier residential community by balancing development with environmental stewardship. Key goals include:
- Coastal Protection: Expand beach renourishment efforts, targeting completion of the 2024/2025 projects by mid-2026, in partnership with the Town of Palm Beach.
- Community Engagement: Increase resident participation by 20% through educational forums and surveys by 2027.
- Sustainable Growth: Advocate for zoning policies that preserve green spaces, building on the 2024 land use survey results.
- Financial Stability: Grow membership and sponsorship revenue by 15% annually to fund initiatives.
Implementation Strategy
CAPB will implement this plan through a collaborative approach, working with town officials, environmental experts, and residents. Key actions include:
- Launching a Coastal Resilience Task Force in September 2025 to oversee renourishment projects.
- Hosting quarterly forums starting October 2025 to gather input and educate members.
- Reviewing zoning proposals with the Town Council, with a focus on the 2026 code rewrite.
- Expanding fundraising efforts, including a donor campaign launching in November 2025.
