Maria Orecharova
As a Structural Engineer holding a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering and licensed in New York, California, Florida, and the European Union, my career spans over 40 years. I have actively contributed my expertise to a diverse array of major building and structural projects, including airports, high-rise buildings, theaters, religious structures, telecommunication hubs, hotels, hospitals, and various other complex projects. My commitment to ensuring structural integrity and safety is underscored by my involvement in code mandated skyscraper facade inspections in Manhattan.
In the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, I played an important role in the structural engineering team, participating in emergency operations and forensic investigations of buildings in the Financial District.
Since 2004, I have successfully owned and managed my own Structural Engineering Consulting Business. Specializing in structural analysis, design, forensics, and building assessments, I provide services to architects, engineers, and building owners. Beyond technical expertise, my responsibilities extend to business components such as management, contracts, and budgets.
Currently residing in Long Island with my husband, we also maintain a second home at 3360 S Ocean Blvd. Our family includes two daughters, of whom we are immensely proud; one resides in London, and the other in France. We anticipate making Palm Beach our permanent residence upon retirement, looking forward to contributing further to and becoming an integral part of the vibrant community.
In 2022, I assumed the role of serving on the Board of 3360 and was subsequently elected as the Board President in June 2023. Recognized as one of the most coveted beachside condominiums in the area, 3360 holds a special place in our community. My primary objective has been to restore and preserve the physical and fiscal integrity of our property, ensuring a continuous increase in property value, and enhancing the overall quality of life for our residents.
Currently, we are navigating a major concrete restoration project that is projected to last until at least the end of 2025. Throughout this process, our utmost priority is to minimize disruption to our owners as feasibly as possible.
As the current President, I have successfully implemented tangible reform measures, serving as a crucial liaison between property owners, contractors, engineers, and management. My focus includes fostering effective communication, ensuring transparency in decision-making, and addressing a range of long-neglected projects to enhance the living experience for all residents.
