Geri Emmett

Geri Emmett is a principal in Florida’s largest independently owned restaurant chain, Duffy’s Sports Grill a premier sports-themed restaurant that serves over six million meals annually across more than 30 locations.

Ms. Emmett is also the Founder and Chairwoman of the Duffy’s Foundation, a non-profit organization based in South Florida that is dedicated to improving local communities through charitable contributions. Founded in 2016 in memory of her late husband, Paul Emmett, the Foundation supports organizations and individuals making a positive impact in their communities.

The Duffy’s Foundation directly supports various non- profits, including local branches of Special Olympics, Girl Scouts of America, Palm Beach School for Autism, American Red Cross, and Meals on Wheels of the Palm Beaches, among others. The Foundation sponsors special causes and hosts numerous events to raise awareness and support for important local initiatives.

In her commitment to community service, Geri serves as an advisory board member of Brigham and Women’s Boston Hospital and Medical Center and is part of the Visiting Committee on GI Cancers at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. She is also a member of the Tiffany Circle with the Red Cross and currently Co- Chairs the Board of Meals on Wheels of the Palm Beaches. Additionally, Geri serves on the Board of the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida and was honored with the 2018 Emerald Award for Lifetime Achievement in Philanthropy. She has also held roles as Chairwoman and Vice Chair on the Board over the years.

Before founding the Duffy’s Foundation, Geri spent thirty years with Trish McEvoy Beauty, where she served as Vice President of Marketing and Product Development. Her contributions were instrumental in the company’s growth from a single retail location in New York City to over 300 locations worldwide, as she developed comprehensive marketing strategies and was involved in hero product development.

Married for 30 years, widowed since 2015, Geri’s late husband Paul Emmett is the brand founder of the Duffys’s Sports Grill that we have all come to love in Florida.

A resident of Palm Beach for over 25 years, she is a loving mother of Alex Emmett and step-mother of Heather and Jason Emmett .
