Fred Kamel

Fred Kamel is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with more than three decades of leadership experience in the travel management and hospitality sectors. Best known for his longstanding tenure at Accommodations Plus International (API), Fred served as President of the company from May 1987 to October 2021, guiding API’s transformation into a global leader in crew accommodation technology and logistics. He then transitioned to Vice Chairman of the Board in October 2021 to May of 2025.

Entrepreneurial at heart, Fred is involved in a broad portfolio of ventures spanning Real Estate, Hotel Development, and Technology. He is continually drawn to businesses that create meaningful value — not only within their industries but also in the lives of the people they serve. His business approach is rooted in the belief that commercial success should align with societal benefit.
